Add linux support#3547

Add linux support to game.

Enabling Battleye for Linux and Steam Deck support would be a great move, I really hope they do this especially with so many eyes on the game after the 1.0 update!

I agree, it’s painful to have to either dual boot or create a kvm in order to play the game. I want to play and enjoy deadside but this is ruining the ability to even have an experience in the game for me. I literally haven’t played for years came back hoping and wishing I could, just to get the “Battleye Error: Unsupported Platform” message.

I would be greatful if support was added.

I used to play this game every single day. Abandoned Windows and moved to SteamOS. Now I can’t play Deadside because they haven’t enabled Linux support for Battleye.

I will never go back to WIndows. I love Deadside, but not as much as I hate Windows.

Please enable battleeye for Linux. It’s literally one e-mail away

I’m already able to play Dayz without any problems in Nobara. I would love to keep playing Deadside as well.
