Good ol fishing with a hook, line, and a rod.

Also by creating traps you leave in the water - which other players can discover too and may steal your catch.

Baits are gathered by using shovel on select areas to gather worms, or use axe on fallen logs to gather grubs.

Fishing, and more Sea content.

Yeah, and make it available at early hours only. :)
And with an option to cast the fishing rod and leave it like that on the fishing spot - so that you could run off really quck. Should you forget to grab it then let it despawn once you log off.

DUCK no this is the mark of a despirate developer getting people to spend time in thier game want fishing go buy a fishing game better yet actually go fishing……. Nope, no nuh’uh don’t do it

Okay they added fishing: no rod crafting, no fish variety, no selling fish, odd pose without any imagination.

Not any of the things we discussed in this thread is done. God, this might have been fun.

There COULD HAVE BEEN a bored or excited pose animation, depending on the expected amount of fish. There COULD HAVE BEEN whistling or humming while waiting, no need to narrate or translate anything. They COULD HAVE added more fish, or fish traps, or crafting the rids. They COULD HAVE attracted people by a slightest variety of this only simple task: obtaining some fish for food.

They COULD HAVE tried to entertain players.
But no. All we got with fishing is obvious potboiling ostentation. Look, you wanted fishing? We got it! Well.. Thanks for all the fish huh.

They did a lot of job for good pvp gameplay, awesome inventory mechanics and amazing graphic optimisation, sound and level design. Still, really good entertainment is far beyond the simple pvp with mobs.
