A craftable raft would be a great addition, so players wouldn’t be forced to find a boat whenever they want to cross a body of water. It should be noticeably slower than a motorized boat, but much quieter. Movement could require manually paddling the raft.
Crafting it could require several logs, ropes, and pieces of cloth. Alternatively, the flags currently available as decorative and comfort items could be used as material. A blueprint would of course also be required to craft it.
This would provide a cheap and quiet alternative to boats without making existing vehicles obsolete.
