What if we have a player-to-player trade intarface?
Come up to a player, press a button, await trade accept and have a window pop up, with a few options available, such as: offer inventory items and quantity, request/offer an amount of money, have a deal/deal buttons, a private chat to discuss the trade, etc.
So that we could transfer goods and money directly between players’ inventory without a drop on the ground. That would fix the risk of loosing items being stolen by other players around.

JimTheCoffeeGuy, these are actually quite different suggestions.
P2P TRADE is when you can quickly exhange items with someone standing in front of you & wherever both of you are on the map.
STOCK EXCHANGE is a designated bulletin board with offers/queries from all who played on the server recently. It can be mounted on a safezones only, or both the safezones and some places of interest (unsafe) on the map.
Every deal reserves the correponding space at the safe zone storage. That is there’s no deal if there’s no free space. This will help to avoid using the Board as additional storage.

Две системы трейда:
БЫСТРЫЙ ТРЕЙД: быстро и безопасно обменять/передать лут, в т.ч. игровые деньги. Для этого достаточно встать друг напротив друга и активировать интерфейс обмена (запрос / принять).
Работает в любом месте карты.ДОСКА ОБЪЯВЛЕНИЙ (БИРЖА): игроки публикуют предложения на трейд в определенной локации: в безопасной зоне или где-то в пвп зоне (тогда нужна привязка к ближайшей безопасной зоне, см. ниде).
Выглядеть это может как доска объявлений: подходишь и активируешь интерфейс. Отдаешь нужный лут “на доску”, затем указываешь цену: сумму в игровой валюте или выбираешь тип и количество требуемого лута.
Объявления висят на сервере неделю.
Баланс места достигается следующим образом: сделка резервирует слот в ящике на безопасной зоне: сколько места свободно под стак лута, столько и можно торгануть. Например, нельзя за один автомат купить два, если свободного места в ящике на ЗЗ только на один автомат.
Так игроки не смогут использовать Доску в качестве дополнительного места для хранения лута.
Заглянув в ящик на ЗЗ, можно видеть, какой лут сейчас заблокирован под сделку.
possible an avaiable virtual market, placing items in for a price or acceptiable trade item. have it charge you an exchange fee.
