Permanent group/clan and clan base, clan base raid#1144

  1. Allow players to form permanent groups/clans, and reaching a certain level allows the group to build a clan base - bigger than a player base, and they can “hire” their own trader NPCs that has better trading prices. The clan base also becomes a respawn point for all members.

  2. Players can form as much clans as they want. But there should be a limited, and designated clan base locations to avoid crowding in a server (let us say max of 6 or 8 in the map).

  3. If the number of clan base in the server is reached, new players could only apply to join existing ones if they want the benefit of a clan base, or:

They can form their own clan, and raid a clan base - possible if clan members are able to collect let us say 5 raid tokens belonging to the same clan members who has a base, then clan base raid can be activated. Unlike usual raid where you only loot their resources, you can actually invade and claim their base if your clan is succesful to hold it out til the time runs out.

This could be a great end-game content.

Hiring NPC traders I think would create technical and balance issues. But it is an intersting idea. Being able to basically buy an NPC vending machine for your base doesn’t seem very in the spirit of the game. And I don’t think the prices should be too different. It sounds like a lot of new code, but I think there’s potential here as a way to save endgame squads maxed out on cash the hassle of a pre-run restock without substantially altering game balance.

So hear me out : hired trader, not found in SZ, who sells single-use items (something requiring the walkie-talkie) to summon him, on a delay, to a land claim. The trader stocks bandages, basic 4-slot clothes, survival items, and pistols, as well as a selection of food, beverages, and ammo.

^I mean, if you have a clan, and a big base, it makes sense to have your own economy, so a trader makes sense in that regard imo. That also is an added incentive of forming, maintaining, and protecting your base. I would even go further by allowing clans to dig their own water well, .

If having your own trader is too op, I think good alternative to have a “trading post” and your base becomes a routine stop by the wandering trader. So he’s not always there..

On corner structures Add Door
I specify clearly on the sides.

Add racks to store weapons.

Add tables and chairs where you can sit.

Improve the base fencing system outside.

Also add shelves where you can place decorations
Also add decorations.

Add a greenhouse system to grow vegetables.

Add a cooker Au lieu du feu de camp pour les bases.

In any case there are so many things that we can add to the bases
That I am sure that there will not be everything
